We all know that climate change has been worsening each year, and it is expected to continue to rise as time passes by. Scientists believe that it is likely due to increased emission of greenhouse gases produced by human activities, as many countries still rely on fossil fuels to supply their energy demand, and the continued land degradation. This is in fact not sustainable and only brings harm to the environment.

"To mitigate the effects of climate change and the consequences of our actions, we have to reduce our carbon footprint and to use our ecosystem as a carbon sink."

This includes actions such as using renewable energy, reforestation, restoration of coastal wetlands, promoting responsible land management, and proper use of our natural resources.
